Writing الكتابة

A. Read the information in the Writing Corner with your teacher. Then, work with a partner to ask and answer the questions with the information given.

1. What is your name? My name is (your name) .

Writing Corner ركن الكتابة

1. Street names begin with a capital letter.

1. تبدأ أسماء الشوارع بحرف كبير.

مثال:

His address is 194 Tower Road.

2. Put the area code for a telephone number in parentheses. Put a dash after three numbers. Say each number one at a time. For the number 0, we say zero or oh.

2. ضع رمز المنطقة لرقم الهاتف بين قوسين. ضع شرطة بعد ثلاثة أرقام.

قل كل رقم واحد في كل مرة. بالنسبة للرقم 0 نقول صفر أو أوه.

Say: five, five, five, nine, two, oh, one, four, three, three.

3. Email addresses usually don’t have capital letters. After the name, we say at and write the symbol @. After the server we say dot and write a period.

3. لا تحتوي عناوين البريد الإلكتروني عادةً على أحرف كبيرة. بعد الاسم نقول at ونكتب الرمز @. بعد الخادم نقول نقطة ونكتب فترة.

Say: my name at server dot com.

B. Complete the student information form with your information. Make two more information forms. Ask two classmates questions and complete the forms with their information. Check that the information is correct. Repeat the information to your classmate or ask: “Can you repeat that, please?”

أكمل نموذج معلومات الطالب بمعلوماتك. أنشئ نموذجين إضافيين للمعلومات. اطرح أسئلة على اثنين من زملائك في الفصل وأكمل النماذج بمعلوماتهم.

C. Make a new student information form for your teacher with: your name, home address, telephone number, cell phone number, and email address. Your teacher can make a class directory.
